Not always. For the most vibrant results, pre-lighten to a level 7–10 blonde. Some rich shades can tint unbleached hair, especially on light brown or blonde bases.

Apply a small amount of dye behind your ear and wait 24 hours. For the strand test, apply dye to a hidden piece of hair and check the colour after rinsing.

One 4oz jar typically covers shoulder-length, medium-thickness hair. For bleach, use one kit per 10-13 cm of hair. Always round up if you have thicker or longer hair.

Start with clean, dry, pre-lightened hair. Apply the dye using gloves and a tint brush, process for 30 minutes or more, then rinse with cold water.

Some pigmented shades can tint grey hair, though results vary depending on porosity. Always perform a strand test before full application.

Manic Panic® hair dyes are formulated without ammonia or PPD and are considered non-damaging when used as directed. However, results may vary depending on hair condition. Always perform a patch test 24–48 hours before use. If you have any known skin sensitivities or medical concerns, consult a healthcare professional before application. For external use only.

Try shades like Vampire Red®, After Midnight®, or Enchanted Forest™. These are more likely to show up on darker or unbleached hair.

Classic High Voltage® lasts up to 6 weeks; Amplified™ can last up to 8. Pastel shades usually last 2–3 weeks. Results vary based on hair type and aftercare.

Amplified™ is a stronger formula that lasts 30% longer than Classic High Voltage®. It's ideal for longer wear and richer colour pay-off.

These colours are blacklight reactive (UV-reactive) and glow under ultraviolet light. For best results, apply to level 9+ blonde or pre-lightened hair. Mixing with non-UV shades may reduce the glowing effect.

Use sulfate-free, colour-safe shampoo and cold water. Avoid products with silicones or heavy oils to extend the life of your colour.

If your hair has yellow undertones, blue can turn green. Toning your base or mixing in a violet shade can help balance this.

Use Manic Panic® Flash Lightning® kits. Apply to dry, unwashed hair, and check lift every 10 minutes. Do not bleach damaged or box-dyed hair.

Yes—if stored properly in a cool, dry place and not contaminated. Do not re-use mixed bleach.

Use Manic Panic® Dye Away® wipes or dish soap and warm water. Apply coconut oil beforehand to protect your skin from stains.

Use clarifying shampoo or a semi-permanent dye remover. Do not bleach over colour, as it can cause damage or push pigment deeper.

Virgin Snow™ is a toner for level 10+ blonde hair. It helps cancel out yellow tones and achieve an icy white finish.
